The event will include musical presentations by The Trundlers (featuring Kevin Craib) and Just Duets (Andrea Smith &amp; Dave Lidstone), some speakers, and a very brief AGM. We hope to raise funds for the LCAR Bursary Fund for students, which now sits at just under $12,000. Our goal is that over the next 2 years we can increase this to $25,000 and hence have it as an endowed fund. There is no cover charge for the event but attendees will be required to\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/backup.lcar.ca\/wp68\/events\/lcar-2025-fundraising-social-agm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register here<\/a><\/strong> and invited to donate to the LCAR Fund for students at that time. Even if you can\u2019t attend the social we hope you might make a donation at <a href=\"https:\/\/backup.lcar.ca\/wp68\/bursary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/backup.lcar.ca\/wp68\/bursary\/<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Join the LCAR Board<\/strong> &#8211; If you are interested in actively participating (or nominating someone) for the LCAR Board, please contact Patricia Cia, Chair (<a href=\"mailto:pcia@shaw.ca\">pcia@shaw.ca<\/a>).
